Los Angeles Dodgers Win ‘Fall Classic’ and Get Invited to the White House

Besides winning the big game and all of the accolades that go along with it, the President of the United States has already let the team know that he would like them to visit later this year. When speaking of the call he received from the POTUS, Dodgers Manager, Don Mattingly, seemed a bit flustered. “He told us that he wants to meet the boys that won the Series and asked if we would come to the White House. I told him, “Hell Yes…er-Yes Sir, Mr President”. While the date has not yet been decided, we will be reporting upon the exciting event.

Sometimes you get the lucky bounces, sometimes you get the lucky breaks and calls, and sometimes you just play better than the other team.
That was the case in 2020, as the Los Angeles Dodgers topped the Baltimore Orioles 5-3 tonight at Dodger Stadium to win the World Series. It was the 8th title in franchise history.

“When you play for championships, you have to play better than the team in the other dugout. We did that in this series, and all year. Now we’re the best team in baseball,” said Corey Seager.
The club’s manager just grinned and nodded when asked to comment on Seager’s words.
“He said it best – play better than the other team.”

The city of Los Angeles seems to have no problem with being home to a championship team. A grand celebration is expected to kick off for the winners in the days to come.
